An Eshelby inclusion in a nonlinearly coupled thermoelectric bi‐material and tri‐material

Abstract We first derive an analytic solution to Eshelby's problem concerning a circular inclusion within one of two perfectly bonded nonlinearly coupled thermoelectric half‐planes. The undergoes prescribed uniform electric current‐free potential gradient and energy flux‐free temperature gradient. Closed‐form expressions for the six functions characterizing fields current density flux in all three phases composite are obtained primarily with aid continuation. A general method is then proposed arbitrary shape bi‐material. Finally, we extend our ideas case tri‐material by developing associated Eshelby composed semi‐infinite media together through intermediate layer finite thickness.
